Join Mountain Paradise for a trekking week in the Tatra mountains of Slovakia. This week tour will reveal the most outstanding valleys, peaks and mountain lakes in the Tatra mountains.

First part of the walk is an ascent on tarmac road that will take us to mountain tarn – Popradske pleso. There is a mountain hut with accommodation located directly next to the tarn, where we can have a short stop for a refreshing drink. From here on we will ascent on mountain path through the forest crossing mountain brooks with beautiful views of surrounding mountains. After steeper ascent the beauty of two mountain tarns will surprise us. The tarns called Zabie plesa and the path around them flattens off. Here we have already reached the altitude above trees and short scrambling secured by chains will test us. Once that passed, only a short hike up some step-like stones will take us to our destination – mountain hut called Chata pod Rysmi. As the hut offers food and drinks we can have a lunch break before descending back.
